How to improve eyesight

Poor eyesight has become a common occurrence in our world. It's of two kinds; Short sight or long sight. As vision deteriorated, more and more people began to wear glasses and contact lenses to deal with the problem. But does anyone like to wear them? Yes, most of these people do not like to wear glasses. However, they have to do it. Another way to improve eyesight is to use or take eye drops. But we do not like this way either. When all else fails, get ideas from others. That is Ayurveda! In Ayurveda, vision failure is called visual impairment, which is believed to be the result of weakness of the nervous system, stomach problems or cough.

1. Practice eye exercises

Some eye exercises can help make your eyes more flexible. These improve blood circulation to the eyes and help maintain eyesight. They greatly reduce the strain on your eyes and increase your concentration. To do this, try rotating your eyes clockwise and counterclockwise for a few seconds. Squeeze between each set to give your eyes a little rest. Blink your eyes repeatedly for 20 to 30 seconds. Practice it twice a day.

2. Ginkgo Biloba

This herb is another ayurvedic remedy for improving eyesight. It improves vision and protects you from glaucoma and macular degeneration. Some studies suggest that it may also be beneficial for retinopathy. Do not give this herb to children or diabetics. Before choosing this herb, decide whether you should consume it or not.

3. Almonds

The omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin E and antioxidants in almonds naturally improve your eyesight. They also help you to improve your memory and concentration. For this you can either eat almonds or fry almonds dipped in water to make a paste and mix it with a glass of milk and drink it. Drink it every day for a few months until you see some improvement.

4. Fennel

The ancient Romans called fennel a 'plant of sight' for a good reason. The nutrients and antioxidants in this plant slow down the progression of cataracts and promote healthy eyes. Large varieties of cumin seeds should be used for this purpose. Grind a cup of almonds, fennel and sugar in a grinder. Mix one tablespoon of this powder in a glass of milk and drink it before going to bed. Drinking it continuously for 40 days will improve your eyesight.

5. Wild asparagus

Wild asparagus is an excellent plant for improving eyesight. This plant has the ability to promote eye health and longevity. To do this, add a teaspoon of wild asparagus, a little honey and mix it with a cup of hot cow's milk daily and drink it. Keep drinking it for a few months.

6. Gooseberry

Gooseberry is known as a powerful Ayurvedic remedy for improving eyesight. Indian gooseberry or amla is one of the best sources of vitamin C. This fruit is rich in antioxidants and other powerful nutrients, which will improve your eyesight. Vitamin C in gooseberry improves retinal cell function and promotes healthy capillaries (microcirculation). To do this, mix a few teaspoons of gooseberry juice in half a cup of water. Drink it twice a day in the morning and evening. The juice can be drunk with honey.

7. Stick to a healthy diet

Following a healthy diet is a powerful Ayurvedic remedy for improving eyesight. Nutrients such as vitamins A, B, E, D, C, beta carotene and amino acids promote healthy eyes. Green leafy vegetables are another healthy way to improve eyesight. Foods like spinach, corn, beetroot, cabbage, broccoli, blueberries, eggs, nuts and fatty fish can help improve your eyesight naturally.
